FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Political Science at the City College of New York invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in International Relations, effective fall 2013. Though the substantive specialization for this position is open, we have a preference for candidates whose research and teaching interests focus on international political economy and who have a qualitative methodological orientation. The candidate is expected to participate in teaching, research, and advising in his or her area(s) of expertise and to share responsibility for committee assignments, including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of expertise is required. Also required is evidence of successful teaching, demonstrated scholarly achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
