The Assistant Sales Manager ' Caribbean/US Exporters will be responsible for managing all facets of account management and development for all segments of the Caribbean, US Exports, as well as supporting the sales and marketing activities of key accounts in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic, to achieve annual sales and profitability goals in alignment with the Latin American Export sales strategy.

Additional responsibilities will include:

Sales Management ' Caribbean and US Exporters
'Assist with development and execution of the US Exporter / Caribbean key account and market strategic plans, growth initiatives, new customer / segment / product development
'Act as day-to-day point of contact for broker and direct customers, and support interactions with WHQ / LA Export functional teams for opportunities and issues resolution (CS&L, Credit, Finance, Regulatory, CMT and PMT).
'Attend Caribbean key customer business reviews (2 reviews per year per customer) to assist with identifying opportunities, aligning initiatives with long range plans and creating and executing promotional plans for key distributors and key accounts for Caribbean and US Exporters.
'Support brokers and direct customers with product / segment information (discontinuations, new product launches, promotions and programs leveraged from the US Marketing Teams)
'Develop relationships with key customers to present and educate them on strategic products based on distributor and operator landscape. Coordinate Key Account Events (select tradeshows and distributor shows)

Internal Account Information Management ' Caribbean and US Exporters
'Manage internal customer information in SAP, Globalink, and customer SOP (product list, pricing, sales reports, forecast, and credits)
'Support brokers and direct customers with internal processes and requests (helpline, credits, samples, product code additions set-up, new customer set-up, pricing changes, product discontinuation)

Caribbean Broker Network Management
'Assist with the management of key market brokers, ensuring alignment of activities with annual plans. Establish monthly reporting process, providing status relating to annual plans.
'Broker Payment Management (ensure accuracy and overall management of broker commissions, contracts, and deductions per credits/promotions).
Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic Account Management and Marketing Assistance
'Assist with the execution of growth initiatives and business development activities for Key Markets / Accounts in Caribbean ' Ballester Hermanos Foodservice & Retail (Puerto Rico) and Mundisa (Dominican Republic)
'Manage internal account information for Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico (pricing, credits, forecast)
'Assist with the development of training materials, sales tools and trade marketing materials for key accounts / segments.
'Assist with the coordination and planning for tradeshows, demonstrations or distributor events for key accounts / segments.
'Compile monthly and quarterly sales reports

What do I need to be considered a candidate?
'Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field with at least 1-3 years of sales and / or marketing experience. MBA not required.
'Knowledge and experience in conducting business in Latin America preferred.
'Proficient in Spanish including the ability to conduct business discussion in Spanish.
