Assist with managing and supervising the Tutorial Center.
Liaison with and resource for faculty to integrate tutorial services with classroom instruction (including online and satellite education centers.
Assist in recruiting, training and supervision of tutors for general student population and targeted special populations of students.
Collaboratively review current recruitment and training practices.
Assist in reporting and analyzing the learning outcomes for students who receive tutorial services.
Participate in providing in-service training and workshops as directed for students, staff, faculty and community partners.
Assist with long-term planning for the development of tutorial services.
Hourly rate $36.43 to $49.52 dependent on academic preparation
Master's degree in mathematics or applied mathematics OR bachelor's degree in either of the above AND Master's degree in statistics, physics, or mathematics education OR the equivalent.
Understanding of effective tutoring practices; experience with managing staff.
Desired Qualifications: Ability to develop web based information and services; experience with online tutoring services.
