Under direction of the NICU Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring that standards and regulatory requirements of Dept. are met. Collaborates with other Dept. heads as needed. Ensures integration of services, coordinates staffing, provides leadership to the unit.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
RN Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
BSN Preferred
Demonstrated, progressive responsibility in Nursing Management
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong Clinical Knowledge in Labor & Delivery
Computer skills

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
Current CA RN License
Current BLS-AHA
NRP
2 years L&D experience within the last three years
AWHONN Test Of Fetal Well Being
Advanced Fetal Monitoring
