The School of Nursing at the University of Indianapolis seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing for primary teaching responsibilities in the RN- BSN program with potential teaching responsibilities in other School of Nursing programs depending on the applicant’s qualifications. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position with an anticipated start date of August 2013. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The faculty member will be responsible for didactic and clinical teaching in the RN- BSN program with extensive use of online learning technologies. Student advisement, curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation and scholarly productivity are expected. Activities to support the School of Nursing and the University of Indianapolis mission on campus and at professional activities is expected.

Special Instructions to Applicants

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
The following qualifications are required:
1. Bachelor and master of science in nursing with doctoral degree preferred.
2. Proof of an unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Indiana.
3. Minimum of three years of clinical experience with a strong medical-surgical background preferred.
4. Previous teaching experience in a school of nursing.
