Position Summary

The Department of Surgery, led by Professor and Chair Rainer W.G. Gruessner, MD, FACS, seeks a faculty member in the Division of Urology, Department of Surgery, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, Non Tenure Eligible. The Division of Urology is a dynamic environment offering comprehensive and multi-disciplinary surgical and medical care for urology patients. Urology faculty members provide the best in patient care, resident and medical student education and training, and extensive community and academic endeavors. Primary patient care will be provided at The University of Arizona Medical Center - South Campus in Tucson, Arizona; with secondary care provided at The University of Arizona Medical Center - University Campus. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide urologic patient care to include ambulatory and inpatient surgery and follow up treatment. * Teach medical students, residents and fellows in both clinical and didactic settings. * Conduct research appropriate to academic medicine.

Additional Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent. * Arizona medical license or ability to obtain license before hire date. * Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology.
