In 2008, Urban Science launched an industry-leading lead delivery and reporting system called the Enterprise Lead Solution (ELS) for Subaru of America. This has a significant impact on the Urban Science Customer Marketing Solutions practice as it helps to reinforce our market leadership and positions us as a “best-in-class” provider of lead management consulting services.
The products and services provided include: Lead Capture & Distribution, Demographic Segmentation & Qualification Services, Customer Treatment Engine, Analytics & Reporting.
This position is based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ at the Urban Science office and will have periodic travel to Detroit, MI and other sites based on the needs of the client. The ELS associate’s primary goals through the application of experience and technical skills are to assist in implementing high quality projects and assignments in a timely manner, and support all ELS relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ELS Management – Manages overall Lead Consolidation and Distribution (LCD) activities and Lead Reporting (LR) functionality, maintenance and support
Execute and support various scheduled reports on time with high levels of quality
Create various ad-hoc reports to support the client’s needs
Automate offline reports to increase team efficiency
Plan, organize, develop and deliver client requested projects within the prescribed time schedule. The client requested projects will be utilized by the client to determine marketing campaign effectiveness and make marketing decisions regarding future spend.
Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to analyze, monitor and proactively identify system performance opportunities
Track, process, maintain, analyze and audit data using Microsoft products
ELS associate will be responsible for the execution of the following processes and will eventually become the subject Matter Expert for:
Close Rate Process
Client Standards and Measurement Process
Lead Reporting dashboard and suite of products
Lead reporting Data Synchronization process
Review related technical specifications
Adhere to quality control standards for Urban Science
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Education and Experience:

SQL experience required.
Ability to prioritize to competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Communication skills necessary to express ideas clearly to individuals.
Written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate ideas in a clear, concise manner.

Knowledge of relational database fundamentals, including creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data, and manipulating data preferred
Ability to perform Object Oriented programming in C# or Java or equivalent language is preferred
Experience with tools such as Visual Studio .NET preferred
Knowledge of HTML and XML preferred
College level math skills and solid mathematical grounding required.
Skills to execute simple statistical analysis software programs and create scatter plots, bar charts and histograms.
Knowledge of basic descriptive statistics.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a combination of education and experience as follows:
Baccalaureate degree in computer science or other related technical field (engineering, applied math, applied science, MIS or other) from an accredited U.S. college, university or equivalent foreign institution.
1 year of relevant work experience a plus
