Associate - Employee Store
HSN is looking for customer friendly Part-Time Retail Professionals for our Employee Store (Located at 12003 28th Street North St. Petersburg, FL 33716) A successful Sales Professional in our organization would possess strong customer service skills in assisting guests with merchandise selection, checkout procedures, and returns. We are in search for individuals with strong face-to-face customer service skills, as well as, experience with operating point-of-sale terminals and credit card authorization terminals. Qualified candidates should also have flexibility in their availability including weekends.
Ring up sales and returns using POS terminals, handles charges and cash transactions and accompanying detail.
Authorize certain levels of returns/voids.
Cross train in product knowledge in all areas of the store.
Assist with training new associates with technical knowledge and sales techniques in specific areas of the store.
Greet, sell and assists customers on sales floor.
Merchandise sales floor/assists with floor moves.
Maintain designated work area for housekeeping and presentation purpose.
Provide back up support as needed.
Detail receive, ticket, stock and merchandise sales floor to visual standards.
High School Diploma or GED
Work flexible hours as business need dictates
Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Ability to use portable stairs and ladders
Select personnel may be requested to obtain a forklift license.
Prior retail/cashier experience.
Experience dealing with the public in a service oriented role.
