Job Summary: This Account Management role will be focused on growing and maintaining an assigned set of accounts within the K-12 Educate market. Active Network, Educate clients include public school districts, high schools, middle schools and elementary schools across the country that currently use our Blue Bear accounting software within their schools. The candidate will be responsible for proactive communication and relationship building with various school administrators, such as Principals, school bankers/bookkeepers, and PTA and Booster Club presidents. The ideal candidate will have the skill set and desire provide exceptional customer service, answer how to questions, and provide customers with tips and tricks and best practices to help maximize revenue potential. This position will be located in San Diego, CA with minimal travel Responsibilities:
• Attainment of team and individual goals
• Daily / weekly / monthly progress to activity milestones and goal attainment
• Develop client rapport and relationships
• Act as primary point-of-contact for clients who have decided to use our products, ensuring all issues are dealt with quickly and effectively
• Responsible for store enablement and getting stores up and running ready for processing
• Answer “how to” questions and provide customers with best practices for maximizing their online store
• Proactively find new ways to grow client’s business and expand revenue production
• Timely handling of assigned customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction
• Create and conduct customer presentations and proposals as needed
• Work in conjunction with other team members
• Trade show / conference attendance
• Enter and maintain all communication and client information into CRM
Experience / Key Traits:
• Background of long-term relationship building skills and selling new products/services into an existing client base
• BA/BS or higher, required
• Knowledge of education field preferred
• Able to learn robust and highly technical software products
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlookt, etc.)
• Highly organized. Excellent prioritizing skills
• Self-starter, independently motivated and highly self-managed
• Able to work/learn in fast paced environment
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
• Entrepreneurial drive and creative thinking
