The Associate Brand Manager assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic product marketing plans, tactical activities to maximize long term sales and profit growth across the product portfolio, and carries the responsibility for achieving the Gross Margin.

Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, execution and evaluation of the Annual Marketing Plan
  • Assist in the execution of advertising and promotional programs across all venues including, digital, social and mobile media
  • Manage external agencies to ensure all brand activities are in line with the requirements of the brief
  • Rigorously analyze syndicated data, provide monthly reporting and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist in the development, execution and evaluation of market research projects, providing insights that impact the management of the Beech-Nut brand
  • Update and manage Advertising & Promotion budget, providing monthly reporting to Finance
  • Understand the impact of cost elements on brand profitability and control brand support expenditures to maintain budget discipline and help ensure brand profit objectives are achieved
  • Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure product and brand activities are correctly accounted for and managed in the Demand Plan
  • Work with the Sales Team to develop in-store tools to enhance sales (ie. coupons, display)
Qualifications, Requirements and Competencies
  • Bachelors Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Two years of Brand management experience preferably in a CPG environment
  • Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills - experience with syndicated service data
  • Ability to effectively use the MS Office Suite of applications, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Project management experience
  • Ability and confidence to interact with senior management in formal presentations
  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and extended schedules
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate the curiosity, desire and ability to learn and drive change
