We Are Seeking:

Job Title: Associate Director/Director Medical Affairs

Department: Medical Affairs

This is a key position within the new Global Medical Affairs function that will work collaboratively with internal functions (Commercial, Product Development, Data and Sciences, Clinical Affairs groups) to help develop and execute a wide range of medical affairs strategies for highly innovative, transformative digital health products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evidence Development: Work collaboratively with internal functions and external stakeholders to identify medical evidence needs and develop strategies and plans in support of evidence development using both novel and conventional approaches for data generation (prospective studies, retrospective / observational research, and investigator-initiated studies that leverage a plethora of data including from formal studies, clinical product experience, and data from partnered health organizations or external companies).

  • KOL / External Stakeholder Strategy: Develop customer needs and insights, build strong external relationships, collaboration, and partnerships that enhances customer engagement and provides mutual value to both stakeholders and company.

  • Advisory Boards: Develop and implement an advisory board strategy that provides the company with continual customer / market insights and customer feedback on company products and strategies.

  • Presentations / Publications: Identify and execute on opportunities for disseminating existing and future data that meets customer needs through the most appropriate channels (e.g. publications, medical conferences presentations, white papers, webinars).

  • Medical Information / Education: Develop an understanding of customer medical information / medical education needs and develop strategies and implement plans for serving medical information / medical education needs

  • Medical Expertise / Review: Serve as the internal, go-to medical expert and provide input and review in response to a broad range of issues and needs.

  • Are you a Fit?

    1) M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D., NP/PA/RN or closely related educational background with 3+ years of clinical experience.

    2) 3+ years clinical affairs, medical affairs, or similar experiences in the medical device / pharmaceutical / biotech industry.

    3) Demonstrated success through teamwork, collaboration, and partnerships

    4) Flexibility and willingness to engage in a variety of medical affairs activities based on business needs within the context of a dynamic, growing organization.
