Reports directly to the Director of the Center for Career Development (CCD) to support the institutional internship and job attainment objectives. The primary responsibility for the position is to outreach, establish, expand and enhance partnerships between the college and employers (40%). Provide diverse recruitment resources and connections to support students, inclusive to domestic and international students for the career center. (20%) Secure employers for five Career Fairs on campus including early outreach, payment, employer evaluations and follow-up. (10%) Conduct assessments, data tracking and analysis relative to employer outreach, career fairs and employment related activities for students and employers. (5%) Keep in contact with mentors and students through phone calls and emails and maintain a positive working relationship between CCD and organizations, alumni, faculty, administrators and students. Meet with the Advisory Board twice a year. (25%)
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in higher education, corporate recruiting/business development, company recruiting, corporate relations, or senior human resources required. Proven success in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships, able to interact with high level executives. Must have advanced working knowledge in Linkedin and Facebook. Proficiency with Twitter; MS Office Suite – Word and Excel required. Demonstrated ability to master internet-based recruiting programs and learn new technologies.
Will be required to represent the Career Center outside regularly scheduled hours, including local and non-local travel. Valid driver’s license is required.
