In this role, the Associate Director will serve as the chief operational leader supporting the members of the leadership team in their implementation of the Johnson Center strategic plan and its programs; develop a new customer relationship management system (CRM) to enhance the enterprise-wide establishment and maintenance of key client relationships within the community, local and state and national foundations and organizations; serve as the leadership team's point-person and work closely with University Human Resources to support hiring, performance management and professional development needs of the center staff.
As a member of the Johnson Center's leadership team, the Associate Director will serve as a key strategist in the center's overall daily maintenance and operations. Additionally, the Associate Director will support the Executive Director in key leadership projects that have benefit to the JCP enterprise.

The Associate Director of the Johnson Center will have demonstrated ability to work in a diverse leadership team to implement and manage department-wide strategic plan and business plan. The Associate Director will possess both leadership and operational experience in the philanthropic sectors as a Grantmaker or Nonprofit leader. Successful candidates must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; strong management skills needed to effectively work with a wide array of constituencies.
The Associate Director position requires five to eight years' experience in senior leadership positions in a nonprofit, private social enterprise, or grantmaking organization with demonstrated success in managing complex relationships to advance an organizational mission.
Master's degree required.
