InStyle is seeking an experienced communications professional with 7 - 10 years of experience enhancing the image and reputation of high profile brands.
The ideal candidate is a resourceful initiator with the proven ability to manage a wide range of projects and personalities across print, digital, television and the red carpet.
The Associate Director will collaborate regularly with the editorial and publishing teams, including senior leadership. A background in digital is strongly desired. Experience in fashion is a plus.
-Develop and execute innovative communications plans for the magazine, website, strategic partnerships and celebrity events.
-Establish and manage a robust network of relationships across consumer/trade/business, in addition to building blogger outreach
-Produce written materials including awards submissions, business and consumer pitches, press releases, internal communications. Samples required.
-Lead national television pitches and oversee segment production.
-Must be well versed in social media, able to discuss related work
-Implement ongoing procedures to streamline workflow and departmental efficiencies.
