POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Director's primary focus lies in managing the day to day qualitative operations of the Research Operations team. The Assoc. Director will look to maintain the US Qualitative Research Operation team's schedule, manage the workload of individual staff, implement processes to ensure operational efficiency, train staff to be able to execute project related tasks, mentor direct reports, run a limited number of select projects, liaise with other departments, clients and external vendors to ensure operational efficiencies and ensure client satisfaction with All Global output.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Run a number of selected projects to maintain project acumen and to assess AG best practices for Qualitative Research Operation

Liaise with sales in order to assist in supporting account plans; serving as an expert on the All Global qualitative operational offering and being a knowledgeable resource on industry norms

Lead recruitment process, performance management, mentoring and training director reports. Working to ensure a strong succession plan is in place

Oversee the planning, development and implementation of strategy for the department's processes and offerings- both current and future- in line with unit's development plan

Work with line reports and other staff members as necessary to establish and manage best working practices, to ensure optimal efficiency and quality in data and all other associated services to clients

Manage staff salary costs through efficient planning, resource allocation, staff development, and staff reviews

Ensure effective management of systems to prevent miss-use of company property or resource and act pro-actively where this is not the case

Management and implementation of department processes to maintain efficiencies and provide clear direction to staff

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
* Global healthcare qualitative data collection management experience is a must.
* At least 5-10 years experience running qualitative studies (TDI, IDIs, bulletin boards, MROCs, focus groups, webcam studies, etc).
* Prior management experience (of a qual field team) is a must.
* Prior payor experience a plus.
* History of demonstrating leadership and being a team player with ability to work across a wide variety of skill sets and experience levels
* Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other MS Office products required
