Responsible for marketing program (direct, digital, social) management and implementation (70%), communication (20%) and budget management (10%) of marketing strategies that help achieve objectives for the Valvoline Instant Oil Change business unit.

Essential Functions:
·

Responsible for the tactical execution

through external marketing channels to drive business results:

·

Direct (mail, email, text, etc.)

·

Digital (VIOC.com, SEO, SEM, etc.)

·

Social (facebook, viral, etc.)

·

Lead generation (web, email, text, etc.)

·

Provide strategic insights and leadership for key marketing programs, including retention (e.g. lifecycle programs, winback, acquisition), and relationship-deepening (i.e. loyalty, advocacy, social, etc.).

·

Act as program manager for social media, LivingSocial/Groupon like programs, and other key initiatives.

·

Develop strategic recommendations for enhancements to programs and customer-marketing experience to continue to optimize business results.

·

Work with external resources to ensure a successful project completion (on time and on budget).

·

Work with internal/cross-functional teams to support the direct and digital marketing initiatives.

·

Provide insights to better connect and enhance marketing programs by building relationships within the organization (i.e. field, operations, training, etc.).

·

Support all new product and expansion strategies as necessary in channel marketing programs.

·

Manage the project approval, stakeholder review, and delivery including expense tracking and communication processes.

·

Maintain marketing calendar with marketing initiatives, propose recommendations for any gaps, overlaps, or opportunities to optimize joint initiatives.

·

Maintain websites and social media venues with marketing content, and propose content/enhancements based on consumer insights, best practices, etc.

·

Utilize direct marketing practices on lifecycle marketing programs, including list selection, execution, response analysis (e-mail metrics, conversion, retention results).

·

Manage budget to ensure projects are coded/allocated correctly, entered promptly, and successfully entered into SAP system.

Provide monthly updates on budget spend.

·

Assist with training process and content to ensure field/franchisees are maximizing marketing programs.

·

Ensure marketing deliverables adhere to all corporate brand strategies, messages and guidelines.

Qualifications

·

Proven ability to execute tactical marketing campaigns in a fast paced environment.

·

Self-started with strong interpersonal skills who works well within a team and independently as needed.

·

Highly effective communication skills with strong writing, editing, and presentation abilities.

·

Project management skills with strength in managing implementation plans and timelines.

·

Proven ability to manage a budget process.

·

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.

·

Able to travel 1-2 times per quarter.

Experience:
·

4-6 years of marketing experience (preferred), or project management or related professional experience.

·

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or a related field required.

·

Experience in the retail, automotive industry or related services is preferred.
