FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The School of Education's Department of Leadership and Special Education is seeking an experienced educational leader with significant administrative experience as a recent principal or superintendent to join the Education Leadership Program faculty. The successful candidate will connect this program to the current leadership entities in local educational agencies, charter schools, independent schools, private schools, and the policy actors in the educational and philanthropic communities that are shaping schools today. Candidates will demonstrate an established research agenda, a record of recent publications germane to the field, and experience with teaching at the graduate level.
A minimum qualification of a doctorate in educational leadership, educational administration, educational policy or a closely related field is required. A record of securing sponsored research and/or training grants is highly desirable. Expertise to work with the Early Childhood faculty on the development of a non-licensure certificate in Early Childhood Leadership would be an asset.
