Position Description:

Daily responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, answering phones, making appointments, verifying insurance information, taking and delivering messages to the providers, and collects and processes co-payments.
Prefer experience with Practice Connect and Next Gen.

Positions in this function are responsible for checking in, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions and managing patient medical records for a clinic. Roles may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Limited work experience.
  • Works on simple tasks using established procedures.
  • Depends on others for guidance.
  • Work is typically reviewed by others.
Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Availability 9-5:30 Mon- Fri and an occasional Saturday
  • Computer proficient with MS Office, Outlook
  • Valid CPR card
  • Medical Assistant Certificate from accredited program

Assets:
  • 1+ year in a medical office setting
  • NexGen software experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
