Work directly with Customers, Actiontec PLM, Sales, Engineering on Pre and Post Sales technical activities. Troubleshoot, identify, and root cause problems. Understand and explain product Hardware and Software features and benefits for telecommunication customers. Write PRD specification for engineering based on customer, product and marketing requirements. Prepare and lead technical presentations. Capture and analyze network diagnostic logs for engineering. Complete technical troubleshooting tasks assign by Sr. PLM and management. Assist with review, creation, and/or response to technical spec., ECR, RFP/RFI, and other technical sales requests as needed.

Job Description IPTV Experience: Must have recent experience with Microsoft MediaRoom and IPTV CPE configuration and related issue debugging. Must have existing working knowledge and experience with commercial broadcast quality IPTV, Multicast (IGMP) and the test properties. xDSL, Wireless and Networking Expertise on Residential and/or Enterprise Routers. Must have working understanding of TR-069, TR-098, TR-064, TR-143, TR-104, TR-111, TR-181 Must have a thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/v6, ATM, MPLS, QoS, IPTV, FTTP / FTTH, ADSL2+, VDSL2, Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n, MoCA, HPNA, home plug, VoIP technologies and their related support needs. Knowledge of the procedures, techniques, used in WAN, LAN trouble shooting. Capable of setting up tests to emulate customer environment, run test procedures and create test results / test reports after completion. Analyze and test all available information on field reported issues to identify product issues or determine root cause of the reported issue. General: Work experience with or for North American Service Provider is highly desired. Must be a self-starter and work with a minimum of direct supervision Persistence, resilience, ability to influence others, strong professional demeanor. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. BSEE, BSCE or BSCS from accredited university and/or 6+ years in a related capacity required. MS in engineering discipline highly desired. Minimum of 2+ years of employment in a similar position Excellent English communication and presentation of skills required. Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral). Must have competence in the MS Office, network diagnostic & packet capture tools Must be able to travel freely between US and Canada
