The Associate Product Manager - Current Products is responsible for growing the customer satisfaction, market share, revenue and margin of the Industrial product group for the current product portfolio. Additional responsibilities:
  • Developing competitive assessments and identifying opportunities to attack competitors and win market share.
  • Generating recommendations on pricing updates based upon competitive intelligence and customer value and implementing and communicating these.
  • Tracking Tennant’s customer satisfaction and leading programs to improve customer satisfaction globally.
  • Leading minor product enhancement programs with the current products engineering team and launching these to the market.
  • Promoting custom solutions to global sales to develop awareness of these solutions to win incremental business.
  • Partnering with supply chain & current products engineering to improve product quality & reduce costs.
  • Creating and updating sales tools to help the global sales sell against the competition.
  • Developing programs to help Tennant manage the full product lifecycle – including trade-in programs and recycling and sustainability initiatives.
  • Assisting the product managers with product launch execution.
  • Providing sales support on pre-sales issues for issues that are escalated into product management.
  • Communicating product related information to the field.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business is desired
  • A desire for post-secondary degree in Marketing/Business/MBA is preferred
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience
  • Willingness to travel domestically – up to 10% of the time
  • Cross-functional team experience and leadership
  • Successful track record for problem solving, idea generation and program execution
