New Product Development: Help to build, execute and maintain a 3 year product roadmap with planned life cycle management to achieve strategic plan goals.
Market and Consumer Analysis: Assists with market share analysis (brands and channel), consumer and shopper insights and competitive analysis. Responsible for the maintenance of information for customer presentations.
Consumer and Shopper Insights: Understanding of ranked CTQ’s (Critical to Quality) for users of products. A working knowledge of how merchandising components affect the way a shopper shops the products and what the ranked CTQ’s are.
Commercialization of New Products: Work with marketing team and outside agencies to create and execute launch plans and on-going marketing plans that create demand for new products. This includes; sell sheets, advertising, catalogs, website content, packaging, POP, etc.
Work with marketing team to analyze, develop, and implement continuous improvements to product, brand and channel activities.
Work with partners to implement and commercialize appropriate solutions within Hussmann offering.
Conduct sales training programs to introduce products and increase effectiveness of sales team.
Marketing/Engineering undergrad degree and/or MBA
Working towards or completed MBA
Experience in retail environment
Knowledge about LED lighting
Quantitative analysis expertise
Proven technical skills
Strong business & financial acumen
Expertise in MS Office – Excel, Powerpoint, & Access
High level of enthusiasm & initiative
Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks with minimum resources & assistance is imperative
