The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Texas Houston Medical School, is seeking applicants for a position that will build on existing strengths in the area of calcium signaling and calcium channel structure, function and regulation.

The successful applicant will most likely be a mid-career scientist with an active research program in the area of calcium signaling and the regulation of calcium channels.
We seek an individual with a history of successful extramural research support and evidence of active participation in graduate and medical education. This position will provide an attractive research environment in the Texas Medical Center as well a cadre of investigators with complementary interests and expertise in calcium signaling.
PhD is the minimum education.
Prior experience in a UT System component desirable.
