As Hematology Division Chief with the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, the State University of New York at Buffalo, the successful candidate will be an outstanding and experienced academic hematologist. He/she will provide strong leadership for all of the clinical, educational, and scientific activities of the Division. The applicant must have a demonstrated record of research, administration, and exceptional teaching skills.
A strong history of academic achievement and a commitment to excellence in service, teaching, and basic, translational, or clinical research are required. The candidate should qualify for appointment at the Professor or Associate Professor level; hold a MD or MD/PhD; be eligible for licensure in New York; and have board certification in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology.
