As Chief, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition of UB's Department of Medicine, he/she will recruit and mentor academically outstanding faculty members, grow multidisciplinary clinical programs and expand research activities of the Division. As an academic leader in the Department of Medicine, he/she will work with the administrative and physician leaders of UB's affiliated hospitals on operations improvement, program and facilities development, quality/safety, and strategic planning. UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and UB's affiliated hospitals are expanding clinical and research programs and look to the next Chief, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition to advance academic and clinical growth of medical and surgical services with particular relevance to work of the faulty of the Division.

Minimum Qualifications
MD or MD/PhD, B/C Gastroenterology, eligible for NY State license and a sustained record of academic accomplishment, including management experience within an academic medical center, and a national reputation for leadership in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
