A doctorally prepared faculty member with experience in aspects of the healthcare business/management , including general principles of healthcare management, legal and ethical issues in healthcare, and healthcare policy. This individual will have teaching responsibilities in both the undergraduate and graduate curricula of Bryan College of Health Sciences.

This is a 10 month letter of agreement teaching position. Start date will be August 1, 2013 - Fall Semester .

The Associate Professor of the College of Health Sciences is prepared to assume a leadership or coordinating role in the program of which they are teaching; demonstrates teaching excellence; participates in recognized activities of scholarship; participates in activities for community betterment; assumes a leadership or committee involvement role in professional organization.

This position demonstrates implementation of the mission, vision, goals and values of the College as well as the philosophy of the division in which he/she is assigned. The Associate Professor assumes a leadership role in systematic evaluation of the program/college and accreditation activities and is responsible for development, planning, implementation and evaluation of the theoretical and clinical/lab components of assigned courses.

General Education: Doctorate degree or actively pursuing doctorate degree in field of practice or educationally related field, Master's degree in specific teaching area and licensure/certification for practice discipline required. Minimum of three (3) years experience in field of practice required. Minimum of five (5) years of teaching in higher education academic setting required.
