Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Associate Programmer – Tools and Build Engineer . We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and experienced person to help shape the future of Rocksmith—the first cross-platform music game that works with any electric guitar.


-Design, develop and maintain build management systems

-Monitor automated build systems and continuous integration process to ensure correct build execution, and facilitate resolution of build failures

-Enforce policies for managing source code and assets

-Maintain documentation of the build/release process

-Develop, debug, and ensure production and debugging tools have the agreed functionality and answers the needs of the production teams

-Keep existing tools up-to-date in accordance with the latest changes in the development pipeline (new SDKs, new configurations, etc.)

-Ensure tool processes and workflow are efficient and supports both internal and external production

-Be flexible and provide support and cover for other team members during critical stages of development


-3+ years of experience programming in C/C++, C#- Experience with .NET, Lua, Python, MaxScript, web technologies, databases and any other potentially useful technology for tool chain or pipeline enhancement and optimization

-Experience on game production teams making games on current gen systems (360, PS3, PC, Mac)

-Experience in designing, building and maintaining an automated build and release environment on Windows and Linux environments

-Experience in coordinating releases from development to manufacturing/release

-Experience with Perforce or other version control systems


-Experience with continuous integration systems like Hudson, Jenkins or CruiseControl

-Knowledge of 3DSMax, Maya or other 3d applications, and of asset production pipelines
