This position will assist with the research, analysis, reporting, and risk reduction / mitigation of potential compliance issues arising from within the Operations business unit, including potential HITECH breaches and other potential compliance or regulatory issues based on state, federal or other mandated compliance requirements. This position will work with Operations to ensure HITECH breaches are properly reported with the necessary information captured to support legal compliances assessment of impact. This position will also provide the necessary support to identify trends that require further analysis and/or risk reduction, and for driving strategies and projects associated with reducing related risk. This position will also provide assistance as needed to develop and/or implement operating mechanisms for new or newly modified compliance requirements, including the HITECH Act of 2009 and other mandated compliance requirements. This position will work with process improvement, business analysis, Legal, Compliance, and other functions as necessary to perform these duties.
1.Research and document individual instances of potential compliance issues for further risk analysis
2.Participate in project teams on projects or programs designed to reduce risk
3.Trending and analysis of compliance issues to identify processes or practices that require process improvement to reduce risk
4.Assist in training, documentation, and other duties required to implement operating mechanisms for new or newly modified compliance requirements
5.Other duties as assigned
-Bachelors or advanced degree a requirement
-Formal process improvement experience, including Lean, Six Sigma, and other disciplines strongly recommended; project management experience
-3 or more years of experience in governance, risk management, and/or compliance management recommended, preferably in the PBM or Pharmacy industry through professional services or industry experience
-Formal process improvement certification, including Lean, Six Sigma, and other disciplines a preference
-PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft office, including Microsoft Access
-Deep understanding of governance, risk and compliance methodologies
-Deep understanding of relationship between risks, related internal controls, and related remediation strategies
-Ability to stay current on compliance and regulatory environment and matters pertaining to PBM and pharmacy industries
-Pharmacy or PBM experience a preference
-Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
-Strong project management and organizational skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication, particularly the ability to communicate the same content to a wide range of audiences
-Ability to manage timelines and balance multiple deadlines
-Ability to manage others indirectly
-Able to travel periodically
