To work in a group based environment to produce cGMP cell banks and maintain the cGMP Cell Banking area.

Comply with all cGMP regulations and utilize correct cGMP documentation practices

Maintain and operate all laboratory equipment with some troubleshooting, as required

Perform various cell culture operations for the production of cGMP cell banks

Troubleshoot during routine laboratory activities

Display proficiency in various computer programs for routine tasks such as generating cell bank reports and expansions, ordering supplies, and creating deviation and out-of-specification reports (Word, Excel, Oracle Applications, Oracle Discoverer, Trackwise, etc.)

Perform revisions of existing SOPs, FMDCs and Production Records as instructed

Write new SOPs and FMDCs where necessary

Schedule routine activities and maintenance

Aid in training of new staff members

Comply with all health and safety regulations

Comply with BioReliance company policy

Other tasks as assigned

Utilizes problem solving skills and may rely on lead/manager for additional support

Exercises good judgment

Initiates and completes projects independently

Develops leadership capabilities

Works independently on routine tasks

Receives basic instruction for new tasks

MA/MS in scientific discipline with no experience

BA/BS in scientific discipline with 1-3 years experience

AA degree in scientific discipline with 3-5 years experience

Or equivalent laboratory experience

Proficient in relevant laboratory techniques and mathematical calculations

Working knowledge of manufacturing process to include knowledge of relevant materials and equipment

Ability to create and follow procedures

Working knowledge of applicable computer programs

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to train others in relevant tasks
