This entry level position will be responsible for design, specification and services related to structures, platforms, bridges, pipe racks, buildings, etc. made of concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products and their foundations.
Under direct supervision, this role performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles, uses judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives, and performs specific and well-defined assignments. In the first years, the emphasis is to learn the business and practice a variety of design skills with the view to prepare the candidate to become a well-equipped future leader within the KBR organization. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in engineering. Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is preferred. This is the entry-level position for the Civil/Structural engineering discipline.
Minimum 4-Year B.S. in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis.
Degree must include coursework in Structures, Soil Mechanics, Steel and Concrete design from an accredited university.

Advanced coursework or graduate degrees in Civil or Architectural Engineering are a plus.
