This position is for ConvaTec, an industry leading provider of ostomy, skin care, and wound care products and services. The Associate Territory Manager, ATM, is responsible for assisting the Territory Manager / Region in driving sales growth in targeted accounts. This is done primarily thru sales activity that includes a focus on contract implementation objectives such as in-servicing, covering open territories, initiating marketing techniques, customer interactions, sales analysis, new product introductions, and identification and follow-up on sales opportunities. The ATM is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers within the organization and in the alternate site setting. In addition, the ATM is responsible for selling products, features and benefits, while driving market share increase. An Associate Territory Manager should foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information in order to optimize business strategies and drive overall sales.

BS or BA degree preferred. One to two or more years of direct sales experience required, medical device sales experience preferred. Experience in selling in the acute care and long term healthcare environment preferred. Able to demonstrate the ability to develop and implement an effective business plan. Must demonstrate strong territory management skills, customer relationship skills, communication and presentation skills as well as project management and high level of computer skills. Appreciation of the complexities of interacting with and influencing customers; utilizing consultative selling skills. Knowledge of the business drivers within the medical devices business preferred. Some travel is required outside of territory in order to assist other territories in demand. This role is a full time position. Candidate must be willing to relocate to or reside in the territory/region.

Market and Industry Knowledge - understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, trends and competitors
Sales Resource Utilization - effective usage and application of technologies, systems, and promotional tools.
Selling Skills - develop sales tactics to benefit in-services, telesales, and marketing promotions.
Business Planning - work closely with RSM and Territory Manager to develop effective business plan to identify growth opportunities
Compliance - adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, and CVT policies.
