This job is located in the Sales Division of the company in the Fountain Valley California area. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President of the D-Link, and is responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all the direct channel and enterprise sales activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company’s business plan
  • Provides an annual Sales Plan and provides quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan
  • Coordinates the specific objectives of the sales plan with all other functional departments of the company
  • Establishes both market and target customer strategies for the Company
  • Responsible for the successful management of the sales organization in order to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plans strategies
  • Manage all direct field and inside sales personnel
  • Defines and manages the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of the sales personnel
  • Establishes compensation plans for all sales personnel including salary structures commission plans, sales contests and bonus plans
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience selling with a proven track record
  • Minimum 5 years as a Director of Sales
  • Previous management of sales team in excess of 10 direct sale representatives
  • Managed in house and field sales
  • Has developed and executed tactical sales plans, exceeding quota and account objectives
  • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills
  • Highly computer literate especially with Salesforce
  • Strong negotiating, written and verbal communication skills
  • Has the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
  • Demonstrated the ability to close deals and move a company strategy forward to a successful outcome
