Job Description:
The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator provides administrative and technical assistance to research team in all aspects of clinical research operations and ongoing research projects.

Salary Range

From $25,680 To $38,520 Annually

This position is a BAND CODE: CS12

Specific Job Related Duties

Under general supervision, performs routine and non-routine clinical research assignments and experiments.
Plans, coordinates, provides setup and conducts standard clinical research experiments following general technical instructions.
Makes modifications to research procedures as determined by Principal Investigator.
Maintains records of all tests performed and data collected and provides preliminary analysis of results.
Assists in the compilation and tabulation of data and analysis of final data.
Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment., especially virtual reality equipment
Performs literature searches as outlined by the Principal Investigator.
Adheres to internal controls established for department.
Performs related duties as required.
Works well with others in a team approach.

The employee will be working on a daily basis with children who have suffered major burn injury. These children have often open sores, are usually severely scarred and may be suffering some pain. The employee will be testing the effectiveness of virtual reality in reducing that pain.

Preferred Education

Some college in Psychology or related Science

Preferred Language

Seeking an individual with strong Spanish and English speaking skills.
Spanish fluency a must.

Preferred Skill/Competency

Interviewing patients.
