JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the day to day management of the Premium Sales department. Provide leadership, guidance, training and assistance to each Premium Sales Executive. The Assistant Director of Premium Sales is responsible for maximizing department revenue through sales of all Premium related products (Suites, Loge Boxes, MVP Tables, Legend Suites and Club Seats) while also individually selling Hospitality Suites, Season Tickets and Group Tickets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and sell all Premium inventory, specifically suites, loge boxes, MVP tables and legend seats.
• Manage and lead the Premium sales team.
• Work with the VP of Premium Sales & Client Services in the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies for Premium Sales.
• Assist VP of Premium Sales & Client Services with development of strategic business plan for the Premium Sales department.
• Conduct on-going training of Premium Sales Executives.
• Assist Premium Services team with various service related issues including: Renewal presentations, MOD during Magic home games and delinquent account payment calls and reminders.
• Network with and prospect high level business executives/leaders in selling our luxury and premium products.
• Develop, execute, and facilitate Suite and Premium seat contracts.
• Work closely with Database Manager in maintaining and growing a detailed customer database of all clients and prospects.
• Plan, develop and execute a heavy face-to-face appointment campaign to meet with new and existing clients.
• Develop an individual sales plan to sell high end products over an extended period of time.
• Conduct annual goal setting, mid-year, and annual performance reviews for direct reports.
• Work majority of Orlando Magic home games and sales events to develop and maintain relationships with clients and generate new leads.
• Institute a sales and service culture that maximizes the sale, service and retention of all premium seat inventory.
• Communicate effectively with VP regarding matters related to sales process, client retention and other associated duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire and supervise full-time staff and manage their workflow.
• Responsible for ongoing coaching and development of staff and timely performance management feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree preferred or professional equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years proven sales experience in premium sales preferred, ticket sales or related field.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills required.
• Minimum of three years of relevant managerial, leadership and training experience preferred.
• Experience with selling Premium inventory required.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills required.
• Highly motivated individual with proven ability to manage and sell suites and premium products to executive level clientele.
• Previous financial accountability with revenue and expense budgets and proven ability to achieve financial goals.
• Proven ability to motivate others and unite a team toward a common goal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related computer skills required.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to take direction without follow up.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
• Strong teamwork and team synergy skills required.
• Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Position will be required to stand and be on feet for prolonged periods of time during event shifts.
• Occasional lifting of heavier objects up to 35 lbs. necessary when setting up for events.
