Job Description:Job Summary:
The Assistant Pool Manager will be responsible for all F&B operations of the pool, cabanas, promotions, activities and compliance with Company, State and Local Regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Directly supervise all pool personnel and operations during assigned shifts. Ensure all activities and job duties are performed according to established company and departmental policies, procedures and goals. Properly schedule employees in accordance with business demands accordingly. Resolve customer service opportunities or other disputes between subordinate employees in a fair and patient manner. Seek ways in which to reduce departmental operating costs without affecting the quality of product or service. Keep the Beverage Manager informed of all pertinent information and irregularities occurring in the Beverage Department. Ensure prompt, courteous service is consistently provided to all internal and external customers. Interact effectively and professionally with all other departments.
  • Initiates conversation with a friendly (smile and eye contact) verbal greeting.
  • Be upbeat and positive: enthusiastic and energetic: uses tone (volume and inflection), facial expressions (smile and eye contact) and gestures to convey positive energy.
  • Delivers and chooses one or more of the following to exceed expectations:
  • Learns or uses guests name and/or introduces self.
  • Proactively offers additional products and services (e.g. amenities, gaming products, restaurants, and entertainment, promotions or Total Rewards benefits).
  • Builds relationship by initiating genuine conversation (asks open-ended questions or makes statements that encourage two-way conversation beyond transaction or services needed).
  • Expresses friendly (smile and eye contact) appreciation for the business and extends a positive parting remark (“Good Luck” or “Have a Nice Day”).
Job Specifications: Work requires a minimum of 1 year Food &Beverage Supervisory experience. Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Must present a neat and professional appearance. Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. Management duties include but not limited to all aspects of the operation.

Working Conditions:
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant interaction with staff and public. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke. Must be able to walk, stand and sit long periods of time both indoors and outdoors.
