As an active player in our community, St. Mary's Healthcare promotes the safety and care of our area's young athletes by providing talented trainers with your highly specialized knowledge and skills.
Functioning independently, but under our auspices, you will attend high school and community college sporting events, where you will provide assessment, treatment and referrals when necessary - before, during and after each athletic event. Insurance coverage will be provided to you, as will jackets with our logo. Additionally, you will maintain a working relationship with school administrators, coaches, families, physicians and rehab staff. Together we will bring the countless benefits of sports medicine to our young athletes in training.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree approved by the National Athletic Trainers Association along with 6 months of experience.
License Requirements-NYS Licensed Athletic Trainer
Certification Requirements-National Athletic Trainers Association certification.
