The Head Men’s Basketball Coach is responsible for leading a highly competitive Division III men’s basketball program with values that align with the mission of the College. Duties include recruiting, mentoring the education of student-athletes to be successful in the classroom, on the court, around campus and in the community, practice and game planning, skill development, scheduling, fundraising, as well as adhering to College, League and NCAA rules. Additional responsibilities will include a secondary assignment, as well as other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree is strongly preferred. Evidence of at least three years of successful basketball coaching experience is required at the college level; and demonstrated successful recruitment of quality student-athletes is preferred. The ability to recruit within College, NCAA and Liberty League rules, as well as an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations is necessary. The candidate should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills, and must be able to work with a diverse group of students, coworkers, alumni and other constituents.
