We are looking for an Audio and Acoustics Systems Engineer knowledgeable in the field of transducer properties and modeling, who will be directly responsible for micro speaker measurement, sound enhancement, enclosure design, and reliability testing. This position will work closely with the internal signal processing algorithm and amplifier design team in developing solutions which optimize SPL levels as well as provide innovate protection mechanisms.
BSEE degree with 5+ years of experience in speaker measurement, enclosure design and optimization, and reliability testing for consumer electronic devices.
Understanding of speaker electrical and mechanical dynamics.
Understanding of speaker small signal and nonlinear models.
Past experience of using Klippel or other speaker measurement equipment.
Past experience of using Life Test or other speaker reliability test requirement.
Past experience of speaker Weibull analysis and failure mode study.
Past experience of working with speaker manufacturers in product definition, test and evaluation.
General lab experience on amplifier and mixed-signal audio circuits.
Experience with subjective acoustic performance and objective acoustic/audio measurement and analysis.
Interpret test results and suggest performance improvement recommendations.
Understanding the technical details of various transducers and the associated applications.
Skill recognized as a plus:
Matlab, DSP, and C programming
Digital filter design
Knoweledge of ADC/DAC converter technology and low power mixed signal circuit design.
Experience in analog and digital PCB design, schematic entry and circuit debug.
