About the Job:
Collaborate with managers and partners to set forth engagement objectives and engagement strategies that comply with professional standards and address risks.
Conduct field work, including substantive test work and analytical procedures, and sufficiently document findings in memorandums and other working papers.
Confer with team members to effectively plan engagements, understand client industries and develop project management, accounting research, client communication and professional development skills.
Perform test work and/or review all identified high-risk areas of the audit.
Perform engagement closing procedures, including drafting financial statement reports and management letters.
Function as the project lead on client engagements and effectively communicate to managers and partners timely project status updates.
About the Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA or CPA Candidate with 2 to 5 years public accounting experience.
Outstanding ability to articulate and communicate, in written form and verbally, with clients and teammates in a manner that is both precise and logical.
Exceptional analytical skills complemented by flexibility to both critically examine details as well as consider the bigger picture.
Savvy technology user; familiarity with CCH ProSystem software, electronic workpapers, advanced MS Excel skills, a plus.
