Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI)

is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. Distributed Technology Services (DTS)

is responsible for managing the firm's global server and storage portfolio's across plan, build and operate functions. The organization is transforming into a Managed Services provider for JPMC and drives product management, engineering standards and productivity initiatives in support of the Managed Services.

This roll will be responsible for shaping the future of the core infrastructure systems management function. The objective of the role is to manage the transition of the function from one of reactive silo based to one in which the infrastructure becomes application aware and evolves into an autonomic function that deals with abnormal state and part of its default function.


Minimum of 15+ years experience in IT Operations & Engineering

Minimum of 5+ years experience building the foundations of a true data driven service management architecture

Minimum of 5+ years experience managing an engineering team

Seed concept of situational service management (autonomics and self healing) experience

Heavy experience aggregating and exposing complex data sets in a format that can allow the service to be effectively managed

Experience creating infrastructures that are application aware

Experience driving the adoption of utilization based consumption models

Ability to focus service delivery teams on the right data points to effectively manage capacity and risk
