Install, Test, and Maintain an upgrade and expansion of the Avaya AS5300 system and associated JITC certified Local Session Controller (LSC) and associated peripheral equipment at Little Rock AFB to support Internet Protocol (IP) line side and network side bearer and signaling services using the new Assured Services Session Initiated Protocol (AS-SIP) specification. Will work within a team to provision a completely functional upgrade with required programming, hardware, software, Right-to-Use (RTU) licenses, ancillary equipment, cabling, parts and material for all identified requirements. The upgrade will be sized to support an additional 200 users, additional 175 soft clients and 25 hard clients. The solution will provide voice mail for 250 users integrated with the existing CALLEGRA system.
The solution will provide audio meet-me conferencing for 250 users. At a minimum, the meet-me capability will support 25 simultaneous conferee's.
The solution will provide presence and IM unified capabilities for all 250 users and desktop video (pt-to-pt and conferencing) for the 175 provisioned soft clients to include USB desktop cameras and headsets.
The solution will provide 25 hard instruments to be used for testing and training with a minimum of 4 lines. All phones shall be provisioned as AS-SIP (AEIs), be Country of Origin (COO) and Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant and be from an authorized distributor from the OEM. Refurbished phone instruments will not be accepted.
The Avaya Technician will assist the base by providing technical information, details, artifacts, etc that leads to a DIACAP/ATO/ATC.
The Avaya Technician will OEM on-site support. This support will include deployment of system users, integration to the existing base network of users, support of base network administration and configuration issues, feature functionality, user training sessions, updates, installations, troubleshooting, repairs of the system and other local tasks as required by the government. The Onsite Avaya Technician will have the capability to open service requests with the original OEM of the solution provided in order to escalate and correct system issues.
As-built documentation shall include but, is not limited to:
Requirements: Must Pass a Background Check and Drug Screen. Must possess, or be able to qualify for, a government security clearance, US Citizenship required.
- Bayface layout drawings and diagrams of the chassis/shelf/cabinet identifying installed cards, modules, equipment, software version, serial/model numbers and manufacturer specifications.
- Documentation shall include cable and power drawings/specifications, floor plans, and engineering specifications generated in support of the installation of the system.
- Documentation shall include drawings that depict the overall installed system configuration and network topology.
