Develops and directs the individualized treatment of clients and provides behavior modification as well as education and consultation for clients and families. Provision of this service may include emotional support, time-out strategies, or other rehabilitative activities as prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist.
A BSC/MT must be a licensed Psychologist; mental health professional with a certification in ABA or other national certification associated with behavioral management recognized by DPW; or have a masters degree that includes at least 12 graduate level credits in course work related to behavioral management theory, interventions, protocols or techniques. Must also have at least one year post graduate direct experience providing clinically supervised treatment to children.
