Teach children in a summer science camp for K-12 students; supervise and participate in the work of staff and volunteers responsible for teaching activities; develop and implement lesson plans for children; ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures and perform the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, natural science or related field, plus experience in informal teaching or one (1) year of classroom experience. Classroom, informal teaching or outdoor education in science preferred. Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Possession of a valid C.P.R. certificate within one (1) month from date of hire into position. Possession of a valid first aid certificate within one (1) month from date of hire.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
This is a safety sensitive position and requires a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and random drug/alcohol testing. This is a temporary position. Position requires: Background check, TB Test.
