Duties Summary:

Conducts business loan activities by processing applications, recommending approval of loans, servicing outstanding loans and engaging in collection activities; relates the State's financial assistance activities to overall economic development programs of the State; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Basic Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in business administration, banking and credit, finance, accounting, business law, or economics.

Specialized Experience: Three and one-half years of experience which demonstrated possession of knowledge and abilities required to:
A. analyze the credit position of businesses;
B. evaluate the collateral offered for security for loans considering earned and potential income, the skill and integrity of management, the financial stability of the business, the relation of inventories to market value and related factors;
C. make appropriate modifications or adjustment of terms to insure repayment of delinquent or potentially delinquent loans;
D. determine appropriate action relative to the acquisition, management, sale or liquidation of real estate, equipment or other collateral to provide satisfactory settlement of defaulted loans;
E. provide guidance and advice to borrowers as to sound financing policies and the wise use of credit; and
F. conduct analyses of business to provide advice regarding all aspects of planning, marketing, financial control, management control, production, operations organization, inventory management, and personnel administration.

Driver's License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
