GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This position will provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation in accordance with standard procedures.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move freely about the Casino; Requires the normal vision range, absence of color blindness, and the ability to distinguish letters or symbols; eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity required; requires money handling ability. Regular, predictable attendance required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work may be performed in a small, confined area; work entails chemical usage; ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise levels, temperature, illumination and air quality including smoke. Constant contact with public, staff and management; Willingness to work non-traditional days/hours
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to, the following):
Prepare beverages in accordance with established procedures;
Follow proper cash control procedures;
Practice proper par stock ordering procedures;
Maintain current knowledge of all policies and procedures concerning service of all alcoholic beverages;
Oversee set-up and cleaning of bar area;
Monitor and assist in training Bar Backs;
Maintain knowledge of current drink specials, marketing promotions, beverage outlets and operations;
Comply with all health and safety standards;
Comply with company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and be available to work on a regular basis;
Responsibly serves alcohol according to training procedures;
Ensure that Superior Guest Service levels are met according to Standard Operating Procedures;
Attend meetings as scheduled; and
Other job-related duties as assigned.
