JOB TITLE: Behavioral Health Clinician Level II

Position Purpose
This position exists to increase community access to behavioral medicine services and provide diagnostic and treatment services for CSM Behavioral Medicine patients.

Responsibilities

--The Behavioral Health Clinician II provides individual assessments, psychoeducation, and individual, family & group therapy to patients with mental health and/or chemical dependency diagnosis. These services may be provided in the context of medical/surgical units, psychiatric units, or outpatient programs. The clinician will document all services as required by Hospital policy and applicable regulations. The clinician will obtain insurance verifications and prior authorizations on an as-needed basis. The clinician may also provide duties as assigned, such as community education, staff training, etc.

Qualifications

--Social Worker: Master's Degree in SW with evidence of state mandated 3,000 supervised psychotherapy hours, post-Master's degree

--Counselor: Master's Degree in Behavioral Health field with evidence of state mandated 3,000 supervised psychotherapy hours, post-Master's degree

--Psychologist: a PhD. or PsyD

--Substance Abuse Counselor: Master's Degree in Behavioral Health field with evidence of state mandated 3000 supervised substance abuse hours

--More than 1 years recent relevant experience post-mandated 3,000 hours.

--Applicable licensure that allows one to practice and bill for psychotherapy and/or substance abuse services as indicated by Wisconsin State regulations. (i.e. LCSW, LPC, CSAC)
