Positions are responsible for geriatric behavioral health assessments, case management, treatment and crisis intervention, and consultations with family, care givers and the medical community. Performs other duties as required.

There are two positions available with this recruitment: one full-time position, and one part-time position.
Full-time position: $4,057.00 - $5,553.57 per month for a 172.67 hour work month. Excellent County benefit package when eligible.
Part-time position: $3,448.46 to $4,720.55 per month for a 146.77 hour work month (34 hours per week). Excellent pro-rated County benefit package when eligible.
Salary normally starts at the first step. These are union represented positions. Positions are available immediately.
Must be an LCSW or have a PhD in a behavioral health field and one year of progressively responsible and relevant professional experience working with behavioral health clients, including clients with difficult behaviors; OR must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing with three years of experience working in a behavioral health field. Geriatric experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and English is helpful but not required.
Necessary Special Requirements:
Must be able to obtain certification for billing Medicare.
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license within 30 days of hire date. The employment offer will be contingent upon an acceptable and verifiable driver's license and driving history.
Must have dependable transportation and be able and willing to drive throughout Deschutes County in sometimes adverse weather conditions.
Computer literacy with strong typing and computer skills required.
Final candidate will be required to provide official proof of college degree and certified transcripts prior to hire date.
Final candidate selected for position will be required to pass a drug screening and a thorough employment and criminal history investigation.
