Benefits Manager – Corporate & Client Human Resources

The Benefits Manager is responsible for the oversight of the procurement and administration of Health and Welfare plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and voluntary Benefits), 401k, Pension plans and Employee Stock Ownership plans for Corporate and Client Human Resources. The role will also coach managers and the HR team on best practices. The Benefits Manager reports to the VP of Corporate and Client Human Resources.

Position Responsibilities

Manages benefits plans from concept to implementation.

Manages vendor relationships.

Ensures appropriate communications are developed and implemented to educate employees on eligibility, coverage, Health and Welfare questions and other benefits matters.

Oversees the open enrollment and new hire enrollment processes.

Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations. Oversees annual and internal audits.

Reviews, analyzes and evaluates benefit trends and user needs.

Identifies and tracks success of metrics

Monitors workflow and deadlines.

Manages a team of Benefits Analysts including hiring, mentoring/coaching, performance and compensation management, and disciplinary action if needed.

Travel – 15% annually

Position Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university

8 years experience within Human Resources with Benefits and Compensation concentrations

4 years experience with people management

Experience with multiple HRIS and Benefit Administration Systems

Position Qualifications (Preferred)

Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university

Consulting and mid-size corporate acquisitions

HR/Benefits programs and software implementation experience

Experience managing direct reports remotely

Healthcare industry experience
