The primary role is to provide leadership, management, and direction to the world wide BioEducation business. Responsible for the day to day business decisions, management of the P&L, and oversight of the sales, marketing and R&D arms of the business.
Set business goals and align business activities such that yearly revenue, OPEX, and DC goals are met.
Provide insight into top line Y/Y expected growth for each of the selling regions.
Communicate and partner with selling regions to ensure that activities and allocations are aligned with business activities.
Strategic and Tactical Activities
Provide strategic vision, direction and technical leadership to the R&D team, ensuring that products developed are aligned with short and long term business goals.
Provide strategic vision, direction, and leadership to the marketing team, ensuring that short term plans and long term vision are logically thought out, planned, and executed.
Develop short and long term business plans, execute upon plans, ensuring that plans align with business financial goals.
Form a collaborative working relationship with NPI/consumables teams and MOD, ensuring that product launches are well orchestrated and have reasonable paybacks.
Establish and Build on Infrastructure for the Sales Organization
Provide strategic vision, guidance, and leadership to the CTS team.
Ensure that key metrics are in place such that yearly sales goals are met.
As business opportunities are presented, establish and build a CTS infrastructure for WW support of the business.
Organized individual with excellent communication skills.
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in any Science field.
Emphasis would be on experience in Management over the advanced degree in Science.
5 years of experience managing a group.
Experience managing multiple functions is preferred.
Ability to successfully plan, execute upon plans, and present ROI’s and lessons learned.
Proven track record of building highly functional teams.
Proven track record of networking, communicating, and collaborating across teams, divisions, and groups.
Talent for working well under pressure and handling multiple tasks, ensuring that tasks are deployed in a timely and well orchestrated manner.
Excellent decision making skills.
Effective interpersonal skills, which can be used within the business unit, division, and LSG.
Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
