Provides Biomedical support including preventive maintenance and repairs to all Clinical/Patient related equipment at USCUH. Requirements Minimum Education: - An AA degree in Biomedical Electronics/Electronics or Bachelor's Degree in related field is required. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: - 3 years working experience in the field with a minimum of 1 year in a medium sized hospital as a Biomedical Technician. - Knowledgeable of all aspects of Biomedical Engineering. Knowledge of state, Federal, Local and JCAHO codes and standards applicable to the functions of the department is required. Required License/Certification: - AA degree or equivalent. - A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 90 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
