Federal Practice - Deloitte Consulting LLP
Deloitte Consulting's dynamic Federal Practice based in Washington D.C. and the surrounding Metropolitan area has opportunities for you to become part of their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in financial management, business process improvement, strategy and operations, information systems development, package implementation, enterprise transformation, business process and applications outsourcing, and a full range of human capital advisory services.
•Survey research consultant will work with public sector clients in the areas of questionnaire design, data collection, analysis, data modeling and reporting.
•Utilize structured, analytic approaches and SPSS programming to solve complex business problems.
•Collaborate with consultants to assist in identifying client needs and providing solutions to advance client business results.
•Primary responsibilities are to develop and apply advanced statistical analysis to the business issues faced by our clients.
•Additional responsibilities include supporting internal survey and data analysis needs to meet corporate business development goals.
•Ideal candidates will possess a strong survey research background in both quantitative and qualitative analysis with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing/Market Research, Organizational Psychology, Social Science, Mathematics, Applied Research, or Statistics.
•Ideal candidates should have 3+ years of consulting and/or survey research experience
•Experience with a stastical package such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, R
•Experience developing metrics, data modeling and statistical analysis.
•Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data analysis and research findings into presentations that are easy to understand.
•Possess the ability to work either independently or in a team environment, depending on the task.
•Experience distilling large volumes of data into important relevance for clients and colleagues
•Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, queries, and how to manipulate and transform data (e.g., Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SQL, Xcelsius) is a plus.
•TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Position Specific Desired Skills:
•Two or more years experience with data analysis and statistical software programs.
•Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
•Experience in leading or managing teams of researchers is a plus (for more senior candidates).
